This was an ad made by bodyshop. But Barbie INC found out about it and now it’s banned.
There’s actually a case JUST like this involving Vanna White and a commercial that depicted a robot turning letters on a big board. Court said that invoking the idea of a someone’s celebrity was not allowed; however, the decision is heavily criticized, and jurisdictions (generally, states) are split on how to deal with the problem.
Interesting kind of idea though, I’m not sure this should have been banned.
